The Majmakar, Kamal Kabuliwala, is now a proud recipient of the "Karmaveer Chakra Award 2019 and Rex Karmaveer UN Global Fellowship", instituted by International-Confederation-Of-NGO-(iCONGO) in partnership with UN (United-Nations).The award and fellowship is givenin recognition of his dedication and courage in walking the path less trodden and initiating a wave of change in society. The Karmaveer Chakra Award is the global civilian honours bestowed by the International Confederation of NGO (iCONGO) in partnership with the United Nations to the people across the globe for their exemplary work in social development. The award is a tribute to APJ Abdul Kalam, 11th President of India. Kamal Kabuliwala, renowned Majmakar received the fellowship for his work in the field of theatre and folk form of performance storytelling called Majma. Award was given at the recently concluded“iCONGO’s REX Conclave in New Delhi for his/her commendable work in the field of social service at the annual “iCONGO’s REX Conclave.The three-day congregation celebrated inclusivity, egalitarianism and extraordinary in ordinary as REX believes in POWER of ONE and “I Change to Change India, I change to change the World and I change to change everything”.
